Re: Whats your pc?
Okay, so my PC was having issues with going into a boot loop. I soon found out it wasn't reading Ram slots 2 and 4. I thought no big deal and just used 1 and 3. After a few months, the lack of ram was bottlenecking higher demanding things. I tried a new mobo, cpu, and ram (CPU was the last thing rep...

Re: Whats your pc?
I'm very torn between a case. I am looking for a white case for about $120 or less. I've heard good and bad reviews on the S340, and the Phantom isn't my style with that little window. I was looking at the S340 Elite. I love the big side panel windows. Do you think it's going to be a good case? I a...

Re: Whats your pc?
try a single ram stick in slot 1, see if it boots. if it does, remove it and try 2. repeat until you tried all slots. My cpu's memory bus is bad so slots 2 and 4 dont work for me. only 1 and 3

Re: Whats your pc?
The 970 isn't ageing well (if you have one already then its fine, I'm talking as a new buy right now) I'm confused as to what you mean by not aging well, I've got one, is there anything to worry about? Or are you referring not aging well to the new cards that are less than 2x the price and offer wa...

Out Of Virtual Memory
So I just decided to hop on Sim after a long day to be greeted by Sim shutting down and a little message that says "Out if Virtual Memory". Great. Checked all of my frivers, all were up to date. Haven't messed around with any settings or anything. Was working fine yesterday. Thanks in advance

Re: Whats your pc?
Would I just go into the EVGA precision app and move the sliders up? How can I tell if it did anything?mxsrider96 wrote:Overclocking the 970 is super simple, so if you're looking for more performance, I'd say go for it. Can't speak on the i5's overclocking, however

Re: Whats your pc?
The 4690k is the little brother to the flagship of that line. There is absolutely no reason it should be bottlenecking, unless your Mobo is gay, and even then I don't think it'd cause problems. I'm running a 970 with an AMD FX 6350 on a $60 Mobo and have noticed no problems I would highly doubt tha...

Re: Whats your pc?
While we're on the topic of the 1080, if I were to buy it, should I swap my i5-4690k for something more beefy? I almost feel like its not letting my 970ftw run at its full potential

Supposedly way faster than the Titan X, uses way less power, and is WAY cheaper, $599 for something more powerful. What do you all think?
