Even an overclocked top of the line AMD will struggle to keep up with its intel counterpart at stock clock speeds, unfortunately in the CPU market, intel is really the only choice unless you are looking for a sub $500 build. Id exchange the GPU, and possibly upgrade CPU cooling capabilities.. In most cases, you can get a closed loop cooler for an AMD CPU and get a higher clock / run about the same temp if not lower than an Intel while spending less than you would on an Intel.
