Re: 2017 RaceFactory Gaming Supercross Rd 01 - Anaheim 1
In game, riding, they are the best we have seen in SX yet IMO! 8) Truth. Great work on the track. It looks amazing! Rides really well too. It's challenging for someone slow like me to hit the triples in some of the rhythms on a 250, but the track is overall just forgiving enough to still be fun. Th...

Re: Sweetwater MX
Awesome track! I love tracks like this where there's lots of varying natural terrain and layouts that use it. Only complaint is the scale, if it was scaled around 75% of what it currently is that would be a lot better in my opinion. Thanks dude! Working with interesting natural terrain is my jam. M...

You're the man, Storken. Great to hear your thoughts. Also, your tutorials and scripts were invaluable for getting started. I appreciate all the time you put into helping people learn the process. My only little thing you could have improved is adding something... more [...] to give it a few percent...

Re: Sweetwater MX
I appreciate the detailed review, Tom. And thanks for the suggestions. Hopefully you'll dig the next one; tighter corners and a couple jumps that are more challenging on smaller bikes. I'll also keep the sand track idea in mind... - Get a better skybox. This one is nice, but it would be even more go...

Re: need help!!
You should have a file named "timing_gates" in your track folder that looks something like this: startinggate: [1500.000000 0.000000 920.000000] 1.570000 [1500.000000 0.000000 924.000000] 1.570000 [1500.000000 0.000000 928.000000] 1.570000 [1500.000000 0.000000 932.000000] 1.570000 [1500.000000 0.00...

Dear Checkerz, Aeffertz, and/or whoever is responsible, please tell me about this: http://i1102.photobucket.com/albums/g451/coltondavie/crowdmap.png crowdmap.png This looks a lot like the probability maps we used back in the MCM2 days for placing vegetation. If this is doing the same thing for billb...

Re: Sweetwater MX
Thanks for the feedback everybody! Secondly, it also felt a bit too wide for me. I don't know how to elaborate on that one more hahaha but yeah, just in real life, every track I've rode and pretty much every track I've seen hasn't been as wide as this and a thinner track would produce closer racing ...

Re: Released Track Objects
Here are the objects I made for Sweetwater MX ( http://forum.mxsimulator.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=43117 ). Each comes with .jm, texture, norm, .shp if applicable, .psd template, Blender file, statues snippet, and preview image. Use them for something awesome! Sweetwater Pier (172 tris) http://i1102.p...

Re: Red Dirt Raceway
Nice step up from your last track! Good overall flow and consistent style. Solid, realistic environment. I really like the bumps, and the table-double-sweeper-finish-line-triple section is super fun. The only problem I had was a few of the landings being a bit flat compared to the launches, causing ...

Re: Sweetwater MX
Haven't you guys heard of throttle control? Seriously though, thanks a ton for downloading and sharing your thoughts. Very helpful to hear the good and bad. I'll definitely take it into consideration on the next one. I gotta say, the traction settings are one of the areas I understand least. Most of...

Just saw that trees, etc. reference another track that apparently I don't have. I'm sure that makes a difference!ColtonD719 wrote:Also the track is pretty unfinished as far as environment goes. The decals are ok, but some objects and vegetation would do a lot to bring everything to life.

Re: 2016 Soggy Bottom MX *NOT A REPLICA*
Great work for a first track! Railing around the turn section the last 1/3 of the track is super fun. Nice use of elevation, and the ruts, while more like berms, really hook you in. I like how the ruts aren't uniform, they have realistic, organic curves to them. Nice amount of bumps as well. As for ...
