Re: Export Script for Blender 2.80

The texture coords should be fixed now. I didn't rename the script so you can re-download from the same link. The script version will be 0.4. If it says 0.3 you still have the old version.

Re: Export Script for Blender 2.80

Looks like they changed how texture coords are stored and it didn't cause an error because I had it in a try block. I'll have it fixed shortly.

Re: 1.13 update

Do a file search for "zzzz.saf". That should turn up all your install folders.

Re: joe.mxsimulator.com???

It's just an alias for forum.mxsimulator.com. If I move the forum to a different server the "joe" links will stop working.

Re: Export Script for Blender 2.6

Go to the material panel and click off "use nodes" and you'll see "metallic", "specular" and "roughness". Those are the new base settings in Blender's material structure. I have "metallic" mapped to the env map alpha, "specular" to specular...

Re: Export Script for Blender 2.6

I have the script working with 2.80 with one hitch. While Blender still has a specular_color field in its material structure, I can't figure out how to set it from inside Blender. It seems to default to 1,1,1 with no way to change it. Is that a big deal?

Re: MX server not working after port forward

If you have the port forwarded and open on all firewalls it should be working. Try having someone connect to it. There's a good chance the port checker isn't giving good results. Hard to see how it'd even work for UDP.

Re: MX server not working after port forward

Do you have UDP 19800 open on both the router's firewall and Windows' firewall?

Re: MX server not working after port forward

Hm. Missed where you said the modem and router were one unit. It's not double NAT in that case. Try disabling the firewall on the router.

Re: MX server not working after port forward

Probably double NAT then. What kind of modem is it?

Re: MX server not working after port forward

The modem is in bridge mode? Are you sure you have the correct addresses for everything?

The usual configuration is NAT on the router and the modem in bridge mode. The alternative would be the modem acting as a NAT router and the router acting as a switch/wireless access point. Either way, whatever is doing NAT needs to forward the port.
