Re: Anyone Know A .saf Creator For Mac

Here's a bash script I use on Linux. I'm pretty sure people have used this on Macs before. #!/bin/bash # # Simple Archive Format # #set -C if test "_$1_" = _c_ then shift for f in "$@" do if ! test -f "$f" then echo 1>&2 "error: $f is not a regular file" e...

Re: Really bad game issue

Always shut it down through Windows. If you just hit the power button it doesn't have a chance to sync its file system and you'll get lost/corrupted files. The only time to do a hard power down or hard reboot is if the system is unresponsive leaving you with no other choice.

If your topic doesn't contain a track link, this is the wrong place to post it. Nice try... Compelled to post questions here? Use this topic please. Oh, I'm compelled! I'm obsessed AND compelled! It's really just the topic title for this forum's garbage pile. I could just call it "the garbage ...

Re: Really bad game issue

When you turn off your PC, do you shut it down from Windows or do you just cut the power? If you just cut the power you're corrupting your filesystem.

Re: Reg. Key

Try viewing the key in a different font. Some fonts make it really hard to tell L, I and 1 apart.

I upload them in order but I'm not sure exactly how BMT allocates them. It's mostly sequential but not always.

Re: MX Simulator game crashing

"nvoglv32.dll" is the Nvidia OpenGL driver. Looks like 0xc0000409 is a stack buffer overrun. So something in the GL driver wrote below the stack pointer. Probably a bug in the driver. Try going back a version.

That's usually a software firewall blocking the game.

Re: MX Simulator game crashing

That's not it. You want the one for mx.exe. I think you want to look under applications. It was much easier in older versions of Windows when there was just a "view details" button after a crash.

I'd check if it was a joke or not but it's like a 700 MB download. Screw that.

Re: MX Simulator game crashing

There might be a clue in the Windows event log. Find the entry from when the game crashed and post the crash details.

Small correction: it's %localappdata% not %localappsdata%.

Re: 2020 SX Season

Looks like it's flattening out a bit. Instead of every day being 40% more than the previous day, now it's just 20,000 new positives per day.
