Sounds like this problem. There's a workaround for it. I just haven't switched the servers over yet.

The only thing the game will notice is the --erode setting. It never looks at those environment variables.

"texturelist" is an obsolete version of "tileinfo". You just need "tileinfo" unless you want the track to work on very old versions of the game.

The erode_* settings go in the tileinfo file for the track. They aren't environment variables.

If I'm not mistaken isn't JLV currently using the source engine with is out of date, to a certain degree. I am no genius and I personally think Unreal Engine 4 would make the game look like incredible, however in a game like sim do we REALLY need our stuff to look like something we'd see if we walk...

The fov setting is a little weird in that it sets the fov for the largest 4:3 aspect rectangle that will fit in the window. So if the window is 4:3 or taller, it directly sets it. The 16k texture might have been the total size of the texture atlas. It'd be ridiculous to use that for a single texture as it'd be mapped to something like 1000 DPI assuming the gun has around a square foot of surface area. It's not z-fighting. That would just look like some flicker where two polygons are very close together. In this case the geometry looks corrupted. I don't know what's doing it.

Would it be possible to link skins or safs to UID numbers? So only a certain UID may use it? It could be done. Obviously wouldn't be retroactive though. It's the bots. They use a lot of CPU. Try playing a demo of a full race to get an idea of what your online FPS will be.
