Are you sure Mullins wasn't working on your network cable?

Might have been the same brand of cable...

Re: snapshot error

You must have put it in the wrong folder. The correct folder will have a file named "zzzz.saf" in it.

Re: 2017-08-02 snapshot

Something like that happened the first night we tested it. Server locked up but was still alive enough to restart successfully. Would have been nice to get a core dump for debugging it but I didn't have it enabled. If anyone want's to try to get one, enable core dumps before starting the server like...

He should try installing the graphics driver from his GPU vendor's web site.

I'll expect to have the minimum slope, inner radius and slip multiplier settings done in the next couple of weeks.

It was:

so I changed it to:

but no change. Could it still be formatted differently because of the two separate lines for resolution?

It has to be a P5 grayscale image. P6 is RGB. Try converting to grayscale before you export it.

Re: 2017-08-02 snapshot

Lazy terrain reshading for better erode FPS. JLV, was this update what you referring to when you said this? Was really fun playing with erode again especially on an rF track with a decent amount of people^ Although it sucked I had to leave eventually because I started getting frame skips down to 8f...

Re: Peripheral vision

For a 110 FOV you want to be .7 times the width of your screen away from the screen. 80" is diagonal so I can't say without knowing the aspect ratio.

Re: 2017-08-02 snapshot

Thanks for taking the screenshots. I'm thinking it might be because you can't brake as hard going downhill. Uphill you can brake as hard as possible but downhill you'll endo if you brake too hard. That makes more force uphill and less downhill. I guess it's obvious now that I think about it. Since t...

The key is emailed to you when you order. Look for an email from BMT Micro Orders (orders@bmtmicro.com). If you don't see it, check your spam folder.

Re: Shadows.pgm Problems

The file has to be a true PGM file. To check it, open the shadows.pgm file in a text editor. The first three lines should look something like this:

P5
1025 1025
255

Re: 2017-08-02 snapshot

I was just rereading the slope limit code and it actually only applies to the case where the dirt would be pushed uphill so it shouldn't be preventing downhill braking bumps. I'll do some testing to make sure I haven't reversed the test somehow. Quick question on slope, is this 0-90 degrees or is it...
