Re: Possible bug: Constant crashing when deleting decals
Do you still have one of the tileinfo files that it crashed with? Unfortunately, it has happened once again. This time I was using a TileInfo that was brand new and had no treadmark lines added to it/deleted from it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C5a2rULQiDAPy6lcBBVZmIUuz-DZ9rhi/view?usp=sharing...

Re: Dynamic shadows
I'm curious about what limitations this would have if you have any idea. Would you want the shadows to be just casted from the rider or would they be able to be casted from statues in the environment as well? Depth shadows work by rendering the depth buffer of the scene from the light's viewpoint a...

Re: Installing on Arch Linux`
Looks like you have the 64 bit library installed but not the 32 bit version. Probably easiest to just use a recent snapshot mxbin instead of the one from 1.13. Recent snapshots are 64 bit. 1.13 is 32 bit and will need the 32 bit libraries installed.

Re: 2024-04-12 snapshot
I tried turning up the ground texture update rate, and that helped them load in a little faster, but it still was noticeable that they were still having to be loaded in. I also tried lowering my ground texture res like you said, and that makes them load in even slower than 4096x4096. I tried 512x51...

Re: Dynamic shadows
I think it have something to do with the game engine. This engine is very poor and power eater, it’s a really old game engine that can’t cast live shadows I’m affraid… Dang. The terrain engine was basically rewritten from the ground up in the past year and supports features that no other engine I'm...

Re: Random game crashing
I was asking if your CPU or GPU are overclocked. Some people run their systems over the rated clock rate for more performance but it can cause crashes. Not sure why it'd only crash fullscreen. Maybe try "default fullscreen" and not one of the modes that change the screen resolution since that's more...

Re: Installing on Arch Linux`
I'd download it, open a terminal and do "tar xzf Downloads/mxsimulator-1_13-linux-x86.tar.gz" to extract it. Then "cd mxsimulator; ./mx" to run it.

Copy it over mxbin and give it execute permission with "chmod +x mxbin".

Anything in the lastlog.txt file?
In the location bar, type %localappdata% and then press enter, then open the MX Simulator folder, then open lastlog.txt and copy/paste the contents here.
