Re: Client track modified (disconnected)

It's a bit of a mess. There were some post-release updates for a couple of the tracks. The updates were posted in the track topic. But you'll have to look through the replies to find them.

Re: HOW TO CHANGE SERVER NAME?

If you don't give the port number it defaults to 19800.

Re: Frame Stuttering

Check the "desktop" menu in nvidia control panel. You should be able to enable it there.

Re: 2018-07-28 snapshot

The next major feature will be javascript scripting on the client. Before that I have to finish something else that it's probably better for me to not talk about. I don't know a lot about scripting so may I ask what the difference between the javascript and whatever you currently use is/what javasc...

Re: Frame Stuttering

Are you sure there aren't conflicting global/per app settings? Does it work if you start the game by right clicking and choosing "run with graphics processor / high performance nvidia processor"?

Re: Frame Stuttering

That should be plenty. 30 FPS is around what you'd get from the integrated graphics on that CPU. Are you sure your Nvidia drivers aren't using the integrated GPU to save power? Depending on the version there's an option to control that in Nvidia control panel.

Re: Remove vote kicking in elsinore servers

It wasn't to kick bad players. It was to stop people from randomly riding around and running into other players. But now that it can ghost out players who haven't hit a gate recently the old kick system is redundant and obsolete.

Re: Frame Stuttering

Doesn't look like stuttering so much as just general slowness. A GTX 970 should average way better than 32 FPS. What CPU are you using?

I've disabled it. Didn't seem like staying under 5 cuts would be that difficult.

Re: Frame Stuttering

How slow are the skips? If you type /fpshist in the game's chat screen, what does it show?

Also, what does the driver info in the graphics setup screen say?

Re: Frame Stuttering

Try disabling demo recording. (It's off by default.) Don't run a really high setting for ground texture res.

Re: Python Version

Python 2 and 3 aren't compatible. Once they broke compatibility I stopped using Python for any new scripts. So everything I wrote will be for Python 2 except the export script for Blender which is Python 3.
