Re: For JLV

Once I get some time on my hands I'm going to put together a series that caters to beginners. I don't know if that will bring in hoards of new players but I think it's needed in any case.

Re: Can't join elsinore 19804 without HORRIBLE ping now

The thing is elsinore.mxsimulator.com:19804 is the same server as all the other elsinore servers. That's why I thought it might just be because it's busier and has erode on.

Re: Can anyone help me find my screen shots using wineskin on a Mac????

Not sure if this is the same on a Mac but on Linux it's this:

~/.wine/drive_c/users/$USER/Local Settings/Application Data/MX Simulator/

Where $USER is your username.

Re: MX Simulator Battle Royale

You could basically do that now by using a really high knockout time on the server.

Re: Can't join elsinore 19804 without HORRIBLE ping now

Could be because 19804 usually has erode on which uses more bandwidth. Do you have a low bandwidth internet connection?

Re: Upgraded computer, game now runs entirely different?

If you haven't already, copy "%localappdata%\MX Simulator\config" from the old computer to the new computer. You might have just missed a setting on the new computer.

If that's not it, it might be worth calibrating your controller if it feels like it's pulling in one direction.

Re: Erode status/update

Re: drawing glitches - Looks like it has the higher level of detail rendered but not the lower level, that's why it's popping in when you get close. Right now it only updates one tile per frame. Normally that works well and keeps the frame rate steady, but with erode continuously invalidating tiles...

Re: lateral force - I'm glad it helped! Re: visibility - Glad that helped as well. Might make a good case for the extra light source that Jeremy did the proof of concept render of. The normals would catch more of the extra light source. Have to weigh whether extra lights are worth adding as a stop-g...

Re: 2018-07-28 snapshot

if youre looking at it in that sense what if all the bikes had identical power, but they handle slightly different more like the real bike? It'd be the same deal. People would decide one bike was the best and use it. If I had access to all the bikes and the equipment to measure inertia tensors from...

Re: Please move the dabb Notification to bottom center of screen.

Not a bigger radius just a curve of tolerance so the erode stays the same now but the collision map functions differently and doesn't track it as a physical bump untill it passes a certain tolerance. That'd be even worse. You could have a little berm form visually but not physically and anyone who ...

Re: 2018-07-28 snapshot

Can't say I like the idea of running RMZ graphics on a KTM. You could argue that there's no point in including anything but the most powerful bike in each class since the others won't be used. I guess having different bikes with their own dynos is something that sounds like a good idea but is actual...

Re: Please move the dabb Notification to bottom center of screen.

If you want to fix the erode you do a simple command saying that if the vertex (y = height) difference is within a tolerance of a designated rounding number treat the erode as if it doesn't exist or is an averaged plane, that will fix the stupid little death bumps that kill people all the time caus...

I suspect the problem is all of his textures are 2^12 where 2^8 or 2^9 would have been fine.
