That's a position sensor that they use to log rear suspension position.

Re: Erode≠ Traction

For starters, "Erode" is a 5 character string, where "Traction" is a 8 character string.

Celebrating Valentine's day with my lady is definitely more important than playing MXS.

Re: 2018 [NA region] Supercross series by MXSEMF

I have an analog clutch setup and feather the clutch out so the rear shock settles (like it should anyway) How you do this? On my DualShock 4, the right analog trigger is my clutch. Its an anolog axis. On the right analog stick, i have throttle (Up) and both brakes (Down). My left analog trigger is...

Re: 2018 [NA region] Supercross series by MXSEMF

The advantage is in loading/compressing the rear suspension before launching. Leclair intentionally hitting the gate and backing up is just his way of loading the suspension. Its also his way of making it look like an accident, which is now obvious since he does it every single race. His positioning...

Re: 2018-01-26 snapshot

I guess my game loads too quickly to notice the new loading bar. It actually takes slightly longer to load into the menu than before because this new loading screen has to flash on my screen first. Running 2 SSD's in Raid 0. Is there anything that can be done to speed up loading into servers packed ...

Re: Bike year difference?

All 250f's weigh the same and have the same chassis geometry. The gearing and dyno curve differ in that they are accurate for that specific year and model. Likewise for the other bike classes. For the 250f's and 450f's, the VitalMX dyno's are used. Here's the 2016 250F shootout dynos: https://p.vita...

Re: 2018 Houston Qualifying pls move people up to pro

Timed qualifying for ams (just like the pros) will somewhat lessen this from happening. It wouldn't stop the Am's from running a zillion laps before the qualifying session since their race night is days after the pro race, but at least they'll have to set their fast lap within a 1 hour window. A lot...

Re: 2018 [NA region] Supercross series by MXSEMF

Why not have timed qualifying for the AM's as well? It won't be an entirely fresh track for them as they'll have a few days of practice on it, but at least they'll have to lay down a hot lap within a set 1 hour time frame. It would help by lowering the chance riders can simply get lucky by pounding ...

Re: 2018 [NA region] Supercross series by MXSEMF

Erode 1.5 was perfect for that 450 main. That was the most fun i've ever had in a race ever.

I vote that we stick with erode 1.5 for ALL races (heats, lcqs, mains) and let the longer races just get gnarlier later in the race.
