Re: MXS Twitter

The PC market is weird now does not seem to be much incentive to build a PC unless you exclusively play games that are not on console. Most of the big titles on all platforms cater more towards the console market which is bigger. I remember playing Delta Forces series (1,2, LW, TFD, BHD), Joint Ops ...

Re: MXS Twitter

Every time I try to retro-game, I learn more reasons to not. It's always a matter of the joy bubble being popped as soon as I see the graphics and crappy gameplay. You kids haven't struggled for years to get to this point of gaming goodness, you were born into it. No historical perspective. I found...

Re: MXS Twitter

I remember playing MCM2 online and there was a cheat if you had windows mediaplayer up it gave you a speed boost some how. Most of the fast guys knew you were using it. They would all be on 500's and 600's bikes yet you were keeping up on a 250 2 stroke. Fun times I miss playing that game online.

Re: 2017 Outdoor Discussion

As you look back in the history of MX you see two types of riders fast/consistent and checkers/wreckers. Even though I am not a Dungey fan he was one of the most consistent riders in history. Regardless of how stacked or not the field was his statistics are down right impressive. If Villopoto was no...

Re: Political Debate Thread

Can't speak for anyone else, but if I show up at a rally for what I believe to be a reasonable cause, then realize I'm surrounded by a bunch of neo-nazi's/KKK/etc., and I have the minimal amount of intelligence required to realize what's going on (the chanting might be a hint) , I probably am not s...

Re: 2017 Outdoor Discussion

I'm not a huge Herlings fan (MX2 sand bagging and such), but I have to give him some respect for coming over and racing in the US going 1-1 in the big boy class. I felt he should have moved up from the MX2 class a long time ago to get used to the 450 bike. It seems most riders usually spend a year g...

Re: MXS Twitter

Dude I wish it was mine! Would be so awesome to have an old race bike like that with all the custom parts and stuff. I'm surprised people are still able to find old factory parts and NOS parts like that. The DSP ignition cover is sweet. I saw awhile back someone had one of Carmichael's 125 practice...

Never thought about VR before. It certainly would kill two birds with one stone making it more immersive.

Re: MXS Twitter

Finally got my Eaton Fuller shifter for my G29. Its pretty darn cool shifting gears now with one hand instead of having to press buttons on the wheel.
Now I just need TrackIR so I can look left and right at intersections.

Re: MXS Twitter

I'd say the Belgians have the best and worst taste at the same time. Lambic brews are frickin amazingly delicious and expensive, but Trappist ales are syrup-y and are an acquired taste for sure. After doing some research on beer styles there are so many choices it is crazy. So far I am a fan of Iri...

Re: MXS Twitter

Words KTM made a 350 a couple years ago with more power than Hondas 450 I thought Honda's reign ended in the 90s? In Europe they're well known as a slow bike, many pro riders will back that. The original dual exhausts were a gimmick, everyone swapped them out for a single. I guess something must ha...

Re: MXS Twitter

Honda as usual showing their engineering prowess . Dafug, didn't they get trumped by KTMs 350? Who needs a fast bike when you got dual exhaust doe, am I right? Not sure what you mean by the 350? Both companies have different philosophies. KTM makes race ready bikes and has been on a hard push to im...
