Re: Upcoming Models #2

Just out of curiosity could you purchase one of those models and get it in game without killing frames? I was just browsing it and saw that you can purchase a video game version specifically for whatever poly count you want, lowest was 3-5 k It's possible and it'd probably look good too, but I woul...

Re: Automatic player find

Good idea, but do we really need that? I mean, I know the struggle, but it's a problem that's (actually ) quite easy to avoid. I mean.. it's not a game shattering update. It would just be a single button that you can use if you need to. It's like Uber.. I can go my whole life without ever gett...

Re: Decal grouping and erode

http://openlightpictures.com/pub/singletiretrack.png Tire marks would have to look like this to get a really smooth result. (just a quick example) I picture it like that, the tire draws a vector line and creates a smooth line like in Photoshop, it'd also be nice to be able to inlucde a tiny (16x or...

Re: Seventh sign of the apocalypse^M

Woah, that took a while  I wonder how long it takes until Windows gets somewhat stable, doesn't trash itself and actually stays quicker for a longer period of time. Even people who really keep their computer as clean as possible reinstall windows every 3-6 months because they notice a big loss ...

Re: Upcoming Skins and Shader Maps #2

It is probably the coolest thing Fox has done in a few years. Unfortunately, the moto community's resident Facebook commenters seem to be pissed about the concept of streetwear rather than stoked that somebody finally modernized 90s moto gear without making it look cheeseball. I agree, it's b...

Re: Base shading/norm

I personally think, that this is still the best one, both norms and AO baked from a high poly model makes it a lot better than everything else there is right now.

Re: norm/spec files

You can make a spec map, but to keep it short, it's not a good idea for this model. You can make a normal map, but you're only able to bake normals from a texture, since you don't have the 3D file of the bike. I'd suggest you to buy the CR 250 Model by Jre, it's flawless and looks absolutely fantastic

This model was made, back when only a few guys knew how to make normal or spec maps. This model doesn't have them either.
