Re: Just turned arcade off...good gosh!

Yep, keep the throttle pinned as your going up the jump and you should keep the nose high, on longer jumps sometimes a flick of the ride forwards then backwards will keep the nose up, just remember to release the throttle till the nose is level to make sure you get a safe landing.

Re: Just turned arcade off...good gosh!

I'm relatively new to MXS (had it for a month now), I remember before buying the full product when I tried the demo - i'm always one for a challenge and prefer realism so I turned arcade off immediately... woah it felt impossible to get going without tumbling over... It would have to have been the s...

Re: Tutorial - Using Decals

Your method will be ideal for me because the way I'm making my track is by using a low definition (1024x1024) decal to cover the whole area, and then using this as my guide for placing the regular decals. So I can essentially have a different decal file for my sand, another for dirt, another for roa...

Re: Tutorial - Using Decals

Wow thank you very much guys, I'm going to use Garasaki's suggestion from now on. You know how dumb I am... I'd not checked my decals file since I established my first set of decals, and did not realise that it actually populates the coordinates of each individual decal on a new line as you place th...

Re: Tutorial - Using Decals

Another question... How do you delete a decal after you have placed it?

Re: Tutorial - Using Decals

I noticed that, I was hoping there was a way you could 'send backwards' like a layer in photoshop, because I've just drawn out a track using decals and wanted to put sand underneath it... I guess I need to start again and do the sand first! What a bugger!

Re: Tutorial - Using Decals

Thanks and nice tutorial. I have a question though. How can I place a decal underneath another decal (without removing the original decal)?

Re: Non-Resource Hungry Enhanced Graphics

Visually my top priorities would be shaders for the terrain and dynamic shadows. Here here! JLV with these two things the game would look really amazing, seeing the bike physics combined with dynamic shadows of both the rider onto the terrain and the terrain/object shadows back onto the rider would...

Re: Sorketorp Enduro 2

My first time here, I've had MXS for about 4 days and I'm hooked. I just wanted to say this Sorketorp track is a masterpiece, its like true trail riding... even though I fall over every 3 seconds at best on the trails I refuse to use the arcade physics. I don't have a good setup for it yet but still...
