Re: WHOOPS WTF RAGE QUIT EVERY TIME CAUSE OF EM'
I struggle on the 14,15 sx whoops too, and I feel its due to my controller mapping. i run both the steering and lean on the left stick. I havnt bothered to change as I'm too used to it, but a lot of guys run the forward/back lean on a separate stick(right stick) to the steering(left stick) so that ...

Re: New suspension updates optional?
Thanks for humoring my curiosity. Sorry, I'm just having trouble illustrating the principle, but I went and searched for it, and the Racetech Suspension bible kind of describes it from page 86 to 93. According to the book, it's called anti-squat. Google books actually has this part of the book in th...

Re: New suspension updates optional?
The pivot is above the CL of the sprockets though; the chain gets tighter when you compress the suspension. From a rough CAD model I think the distance between tangent points on top of the sprockets increases at least 3mm over the first half of the travel on a full sized bike, with 315mm of travel....

Re: New suspension updates optional?
It wouldn't stiffen the shock, it would compress it more. To stiffen it, the pivot would have to be above the chain. That's why you see some mountain bikes with the pivot over the chain. The pivot is above the CL of the sprockets though; the chain gets tighter when you compress the suspension. From...

Re: New suspension updates optional?
I wonder if Racetech knows how much force the chain tension can add to the rear suspension? Like if it max's out at 50lbs you could interpolate that from landing with the clutch in up to landing in 5th tapped. I don't know how much difference it would make, but it would stiffen the shock some in the...

Re: New suspension updates optional?
I dunno how many of you ride seriously but, if your going to land hard. Your best bet is to pin the throttle as you land as the forward momentum absorbs a lot of the force. Who on earth goes yeah I'm over jumping, better land with no gas. If you land pinned and loop your larry. How about you grip w...

Re: Rollers and luging problems.
So to actually help you, you just need to carry more speed through the corner before the rollers. Also the lugging or bogging is because of you're in too high of a gear. If you're only in third gear and you have this problem then maybe you should change your gearing. Like I said though, practice ca...

Re: New suspension updates optional?
I know I over jumped a bit but come on. https://gyazo.com/c7388b3cc6857b91d19c61adbfaf336a.gif Betcha a case of donuts you landed WFO. The fall off is from too much acceleration. In real life as well, if you flat land a 60HP 450 in second gear tapped, you'll notice that you are no longer any where ...
