Re: 2018 MX Discussion

2014 Paulin wasnt the same as Paulin 2018 (struggle to finish top5 in GP lol), 2016 Ernée Musquin was here and almost win a moto in 250.. Sorry, you're right. Musquin was in Ernée, but that was also 2015... I was looking up the results and got mixed up. I was referring to the 2016 event in Italy. I...

Re: 2018 MX Discussion

I'd love to see Musquin on there too, but they've left him off before and still won. Look at Latvia 2014 or 2016 in Ernee. France just happens to have it going on right now in terms of talent, and I don't think they'd need Musquin to win. But of course my real hope is that Tomac goes terminator on e...

Re: World of Echo: A Blog About Motocross Filmmakers

World of Echo, installment 11. This time I got to speak with documentary filmmaker Todd Huffman, who you might know from his show on Speed, The Motocross Files , or his project on John Penton in 2014. He was even a producer on the follow up the seminal MX movie, On Any Sunday , with OAS: The Next Ch...

Re: World of Echo: A Blog About Motocross Filmmakers

I'm so far behind. When I'm on lunch at work I try to catch up. A half-hour goes by so quick when I have to sound out each vowel  . I know it's a blog, but having the option to stream or d/l the audio would be too rad. It's gonna be here "forever" so I eventually will get through th...

Re: World of Echo: A Blog About Motocross Filmmakers

It's already the end of July... wow. As Isaac Brock once said, "the year's go fast and the days go slow." I'm lucky to get two pieces out this month, and I'm finally ready to share this one. This installment is a special one though, for a couple reasons. To start, I've finally hit double d...

Re: Real Life

There is already a real life pics thread (Real MX Pics), but I don't blame you for starting a new one. The original hasn't been posted in since october last year and it's buried. Nice start tho :)

Re: World of Echo: A Blog About Motocross Filmmakers

Hey guys, back with another interview today! I'm bummed I haven't been able to put these out as rapidly as I once did, but I hope the ones I do put out are worth the wait. Anyways, a few days before the RedBud National I got to speak with Jessica Young, the director and lead cinematographer on Fox R...

If anyone could ever claim to be born to ride a motorcycle, it'd probably be James.

Re: YOUR Real MX Vid's

Super creative, and I really enjoyed this. One complaint, and may seem petty but I really wish you included more bike sounds, and worked on the audio more. You have the video part down, but would love to see you utilize audio more. It all seemed very 2 dimensional. Adding bike sounds, various sound...

Re: Christopher Blackmer aka Lil c 573

Seen him at RedBud a bunch, Dutch too. He's always been quick but I feel like this year he's really been hitting another level with his riding. I believe his Uncle passed away last year. Bummer to see, he was at every one of that kid's races.

Re: YOUR Real MX Vid's

Are you using some kind of gimbal for some of those low shots? Looks really good. Haven't gotten a chance to read the article, but it looks like you've been killing it on those as well :) Yeah I finally got my hands on a used DJI Ronin to put my FS5 on. Always wanted to own one and finally found so...

Re: YOUR Real MX Vid's

Man I've been wanting to post something here for so long! I can't believe how long it's been since my last proper video... almost a year ago now at RedBud. However, as I'm sure most of you who frequent this thread know, I've been plugging away at some writing projects on my blog/site World of Echo. ...

Re: World of Echo: A Blog About Motocross Filmmakers

I notice the blog is slowly transforming into more than just "motocross filmmakers," and the latest installment to the site with my good friend Alex Witkowski pulls me further from a blog about filmmakers, to a blog about motocross itself... or something. I'm not really sure what it's turn...
