Re: Using a 4K TV as a monitor
what is the lag that you are talking about. is it controller lag because I play on a led tv and can not for the life of me be consisant with my laps. It's input lag, so for example, when your adjusting the rider position with the controller there is a delay between your movements on the analogue st...

Re: Using a 4K TV as a monitor
Is HDTV lag still a thing? It's more than a thing! It's an epidemic! In all seriousness I've had some experience with it. Last christmas I bought a new HDTV, and the input lag was just nuts. Probably at least around 0.5-1sec. I plated Halo 4 mainly at the time and it was just terrible. Supposedly t...

Re: Using a 4K TV as a monitor
This is my main worry, I am at the point of brining my PC to a TV store and hooking it up to different TVs and seeing if this lag exists. Not sure how the staff will feel about it...jlv wrote:Is HDTV lag still a thing?

Re: Using a 4K TV as a monitor
Capable of outputting 4k and gaming at 4k are different subjects. What card is it? I thought about that too. 4K gaming output would need a lot more than just 4K video playback output huh? Thanks guys. It's fairly good card, it's the GTX980 from Nvidia. I am starting to think that a cheaper 1080p wi...

Using a 4K TV as a monitor
Hello all, I have a new PC coming in a week or two which has a graphics card capable of outputting ultra HD resolutions, therefore I've been thinking of getting a 4K TV to to use as a monitor as well as, obviously, a TV. Do any of you guys have this set up? If so, what's it like? Worth it for MXsim?...

Re: ------F.A.Q------ FIRST THREAD YOU SHOULD READ
Also, you could do a video discussing how the servers work. e.g. how to participate in a race series, how to join races, how to set up your own server?
These are things that I don't understand, and I am sure a lot of new MX sim players don't understand.

Re: ------F.A.Q------ FIRST THREAD YOU SHOULD READ
Hmmm. I prefer to stick it to one topic instead. I feel like I just go on a rant the whole time I talk :D The first simplified was similar to that and again it had just felt to long and drug out. :D If there was someone that needed one focal question done I could do that.[/quote] I'd say that doing ...

have not in awhile bemuse because I haven't had the drive to. Why do you have a suggestion for my next one? I came across a 'noobs guide to mxs' that poigog did a year ago, which was good for the basics, although there are still a few points left unexplained. I guess a lot of people would like a ri...
