Bluetooth works well. Not sure you'd want to run wireless in a competitive race, though. I sometimes drop connection, however, I think that's more due to my computer's antenna placement.

This thing is an absolute dream for moto gamers. Haven't found anything it can't run yet. PCSX2 runs like a dream playing old stuff like MX2002 or MTX Mototrax. The main one is called Reshade. The old profiles posted on the forums a few years ago won't work, but they are a lot easier to use now without having to edit ini files.

Working on a dotnet port for some reason. I plan on making everything as self-contained as possible, but some users may have to install a .net framework to run it. You need to save your diffuse map, normal map, and specular map to .png files. Then you can use this tool I made to save them with the proper names.

I'm not a fan of texture splatting terrain engines like Unity. This is not a step forward IMO. The terrain system has plagued me for years. Like you said, all the texturing is done through splatmaps with no option to rotate or scale textures independently. A lot has to be done with a custom terrain...
