Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

Also, On a side note, would it be possible to update the first post each week with all the track links like has been done in the past? Don't worry about it if it's more trouble than it's worth, it'd just make it easier to keep up with all the tracks when switching from laptop to pc coming to and fr...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

Is there a reason why sign ups for all classes aren't open like a week before the race? Seems like it would save a lot of headaches. If open signups have to wait until after the regular am night runs that makes sense, but it'd be nice to be able to sign up with plenty of time ahead, just to make sur...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

On an unrelated note. Track appreciation post incoming: I like this track a lot. I definitely prefer the jump shapes in the rhythm sections over the ones from last week at Phoenix. I don't like the corners that are less than 180 degrees, but that's not a builder thing, that's a layout thing. No matt...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

Open class went just fine, said something weird about failing to unlock the server at the end though. Was fun to race, even if it was only against 5 other people lol. #NotLast

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

...we will be running a couple extra automated classes tonight to (1) get people some racing, and (2) possibly help debug the scripts. I ask that whoever can show up and race, please do. However, since there have been issues in the past, don't be too disappointed if the races don't run as planned. ...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

Clearly it doesn't get said enough, but thank you to everyone at rF for all you do. I feel like it's kind of a silent majority thing, like the few people who are actually dicks are the loudest out of all of us, but plenty of us do truly appreciate all the work you do. Nobody's perfect, but if we all...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

As far as the track this week goes, I think this one was a miss. The main thing I'm not a fan of is the way the jumps are shaped, they seem short, spaced out, and not very peaky. It seems like I'm going through a series of ski jumps rather than a rhythm section, and it's a little more sketchy that w...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

I missed my track appreciation post this week, but I thought it was the most fun one yet. It was a bit more technical without having (what I thought were) oversized jumps like SD, but once you get in a groove it has the same easy rideability that A1 did. I don't think 90 berms will ever be good just...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

If they are fast enough to qualify into the night show they aren't ams. It doesn't make them smart either though. The top 15 ams in the 250 class at A1 had times that would have put them in the top 40 for pro night. Quali time alone doesn't make a pro. If you're slow at quali it can prevent you rac...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

Yet again, this is an incredible track. If I absolutely have to pick at something, it's that it feels kinda big (especially that sx triple before mechanics area for a 250), but other than that, it's fantastic. It's super rideable, but still tough to pull off some big lines, it looks great, and it's ...

Re: 2017 rF Supercross (Pro and Amateur)

Used my phone to upload these haha so if any things wrong with them that's why, but a quick glance at San Diego Track looks sweet, looking forward to it! Pro night signups are posted. Note: All racing from here on out will take place in bombshelter.mxsimulator.com (19800 for hosted events, 19801 th...
