I missed out on the series because I suck at sx, but I downloaded all the tracks and I gotta say that these are some of the most fun sx tracks I've played on this game. Forgiving enough for someone like me, but plenty of options and fun rhythms. Great work!

When I open the game to see how the opacity of the sahdows are, they aren't placed where they should be. Now that I've been working with them more, I think I'm getting a handle on how these things work. It appears that with shaders turned on in the graphics settings, shading.ppm gets updated essentially in real time. So, any external editing I do to this file gets replaced with the game's shading. What are the default settings for grass/dirt on the blank track, before editing tileinfo? I've tried friction 1.0 1.0 roll_resist 25 50 0 as someone suggested but that didn't feel right at higher speeds. Right now I just have texture @dirt.ppm addtile Which feels about right.
