Re: Sound FX or Javascript volume bar in Sound Settings

I believe I have the JS sounds in with the competitor volume. So you can adjust it vs your own bike but it'll also lower the other bikes.

Re: Commands

It depends on what scripts the server is running. On the elsinore.mxsimulator.com servers you can type "server, help" to get a command list and "server, help command" for help on a specific command.

Re: how to change the track on els 01?

First list the tracks:
server,listtracks

Find the number for the track you want and call a vote for it:
server,callvote settrack 3

I don't want to call you out in public like this but you were given a refund. You should have uninstalled when you were refunded.

Re: MXS Twitter

Not sure if their tutorials are any good but Mozilla's reference pages are excellent.

Re: [Server] Reload JS File

Probably best to just do the eval thing in that case and be careful with the hooks. The default handlers are all just empty functions so it's safe to not call them.

Re: tileinfo info

Painting the tile maps with different steps like this has had pretty good results. https://gyazo.com/a5dbb83f7e846c25759e3ca0e1f8e0fc.png Do you have any ideas or a direction to go in to make that exit rut (the pink tile) form a couple more lines? You can see where the lines want to form, they just...

Re: mxserver-2018-06-30-1412

Other question about js. Why we need to callback the hook at the end of function ? function send_greeting(slot) { mxserver.send(slot, "Welcome to the server!"); send_greeting_prev(slot); /* Why this line ? */ } var send_greeting_prev = mxserver.connect_handler; mxserver.connect_handler = ...

Re: tileinfo info

I added that because Chris thought the berms were too high on entry. The intention is to set it below 1 to reduce the berm lead in. If you want the "natural" setting, leave it at 1. Going higher probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Re: [Server] Reload JS File

You could try 'eval(mxserver.file_to_string("myscript.js"))'. You'd have to make sure you reset any handlers you hooked at the start of your script to avoid turning the handler chain into a loop. I'd feel safer just restarting the server. It'd also be possible to save your track list and r...

Re: More editor suggestions

I'm planning on a major overhaul for the editor. Going to convert the whole thing to javascript for infinite customization. It'll be so nice to be able to integrate all the kludgy scripts we use now. I'll add scroll wheel support then. does this mean curved gradients! :D :D Primitives like that are...

Re: mxserver-2018-06-30-1412

PS : JLV, Did you work on the new hook ? Because I'm waiting after you to improve automatic messages on MxsRank. I just realized you can do that by polling mxserver.get_number("race_time", 0). It'll be <= 0 when the clients are loading and start counting up when everyone is loaded in. Pol...
