Re: Political Debate Thread
To provide a little further thinking.. the average adult walks 2-3 mph or 15-20 min per mile google says. If you have ever walked in a crowd, more times than not, the flow of a large amount of unorganized people is a tad slow. Then theres other obstacles.. probably only assume it was a 20-30 minute ...

Re: Political Debate Thread
If they want to play publisher and not let Trump "instigate a inauguration day riot"...That's dangerous to me. It's clear that you have no threshold for what constitutes incitement of violence. The fact that there's been several plots to kidnap our own lawmakers and then this shit hasn't been menti...

Re: Political Debate Thread
About the Twitter and Facebook bans, I think what we're seeing is no company wants to be the forum he instigates the inauguration day riot from. I mean, if you ran a web site, would you want him posting there and exposing you to that liability? Section 230 might protect you from some liability but ...

Re: Political Debate Thread
With each passing day, it becomes crystal clear that no realistic, open-eyed civil discussion can be had with Trump supporters. I'll have to get more clinical and creative with describing this depravity. The utter hypocrisy of draping yourself in the flag, claiming God is on your side with your wea...

Re: Political Debate Thread
In light of recent pardons, vetoes and general ass-hat, Fuck-The-USA behavior, I'm reminded of this... What would you consider as productive activity? I see a Republican president carrying out Republican policy ( for the most part ). Congrat-u-fucking-lations! This is wherre your vote really counts...

Re: Political Debate Thread
Let's get bold and make some "at best" estimates. With the following assumptions: - The excel data is flawed and it is true that there is missing data due to people electing to not share their information - Thus, I will say that the reported turnout cumulative totals on the Washoe county turnout rep...

Re: Political Debate Thread
Now that I think of it, this might explain the 10,000 vote difference between the published tables and the excel data. Tightens the gap but not by much, especially if you expand the vote totals to the reported results by the state. So either Im missing another disclaimer (good catch), something with...

Re: Political Debate Thread
Maybe this explains the short count? * NOTE: Above lists in Excel do not include information about voters who have requested to have their address and phone number withheld from the public. Not sure if that means they aren't in the list or they just left the address blank. Trump definitely should h...

Re: Political Debate Thread
*Another terrible, pathetic, weak jab with no substance because I have no good points* Come on Havoc. I know numbers are scary but please try to follow along instead of pluck out a little statement you can take a subjective and highly biased take on. Numbers being mismatched is considered to be cer...

Re: Political Debate Thread
I began to look further into this. I wanted to see what the state of Nevada turnout report by county looked like. https://www.nvsos.gov/sos/home/showdocument?id=9054 For Washoe they report (as of 11/25/20): - 306,033 registered voters, almost 2,000 more voters (per 11/25/20) than what Washoe reports...

Re: Political Debate Thread
What I mean is he needed to show up with a list of names. Not numbers or statistics. Show up in court and say "Aaron Aaronson voted and here is his obituary from earlier this year." Do that 10,000 times and the challenge is a completely different story. Who are we to say they haven't? In the instan...

Re: Political Debate Thread
You got me on that video. While I try not to have any derangement syndrome either way on politics, I definitely have "video where text would have done" derangement syndrome. I can't stand it when I have to sit through a video for something I could read in no time. I watched until I saw the chart to...

Re: Political Debate Thread
From the Wisconsin ruling today : ¶33 REBECCA FRANK DALLET and JILL J. KAROFSKY, JJ. (concurring). As acknowledged by the President's counsel at oral argument, the President would have the people of this country believe that fraud took place in Wisconsin during the November 3, 2020 election. Nothin...

Re: Political Debate Thread
The Benford's law video is ridiculous. You can see just by looking at the thumbnail that neither one follows it. Trump is getting 0's (showing as the even spread across the entire range), 1's and 2's and Biden is getting 2-6. The data isn't following Benford's law because it's all in the same order...
