Re: Dyno balance
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 250f rider model weighs 150lb and the 450f rider model weighs 175lb? If we add power to the 250's, past a certain point, the 250's will literally be faster than 450's. Personally I could do without the rider weight variation, I'd be all for making both rider weights...

Re: Dyno balance
Didn't you add power to the 2009 250 dyno's? I thought I remembered you saying that you did at one point. If that is true, it would explain the disparity because the 450's have improved by a larger margin than 250's have. No. I put the numbers in directly from the source. But there was a big jump b...

Re: Dyno balance
If I'm not wrong all this is just so you can see these bikes in different colors? I constantly see people complaining about more important stuff lol https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/517122522001440770/811605427284475964/unknown.png Not exactly. Other points have been mentioned in this threa...

Re: Dyno balance
Forgot the last part, I would say spec dyno's for 450 would be FC and CRF as the two are both used and for 250's I think pretty well everyone uses the SXF and the odd FC.

Re: Dyno balance
Yes you could do traction but that would take development and I am sure a ton of backlash of people being mad. Not saying it shouldn't happen but it is also realistic for 250's to be closer than they are currently. Yes but that tuneability comes at the cost of more png files. I think in the g...

Re: Dyno balance
The best way to limit what high HP bikes can do is to use realistically low traction values. We already do have tuneable powerbands in the sense that you can choose different bikes. (The main problem now is KTM has been pretty much winning at every point on the curve.) When I did the first 450s the...

Re: Dyno balance
Scrapping the idea of assigning any dyno to any bike I actually think we should make this top priority to finally get rid of all the naming issues. As much as i like the idea of stronger 250Fs, i'm a little concerned about how this might change the fun factor of 250Fs :? I mean yeah, you can always...

Re: Political Debate Thread
Turning a blind eye to any wrongdoing is not a political thing, it's a republican thing. If someone needs to be held accountable to prove that they mean what they say then it should be done. Going from "You can't prosecute a sitting president" to "Why prosecute him, he's not the president anymore" ...

Re: Dyno balance
So people will intentionally run timings that lower their power output? Sounds unlikely to me. A better question to answer is exactly what the spec bike dyno should look like. That was an example to make it a tuning tool. If there is no consequences to maxing timing in all categories what kind of h...

Re: Dyno balance
Would detaching the 'dyno' from the bike and having a map selection for each bike be a possibility? I'm interested in this. How would this work though? You're saying give us the ability to use a ktm dyno on a honda? Or having one "dyno" for every bike and being able to customize it? Both. Pick your...

Re: Dyno balance
What about a timing adjustment? Have low/mid/high with max degree's total so you cannot just advance everywhere? I still feel like if there was a more 'simulation' side to tuning in general that would add some fun for people who are more savvy with setting stuff up which is realistic. Might make se...

Re: Dyno balance
Even if I had access to a dyno and all the bikes and all the different pipes/cams/maps/etc, motor mods would be a non starter because it'd be a combinatorial explosion. It'd take hundreds of dyno runs to get all the combinations. What about a timing adjustment? Have low/mid/high with max degree's t...

Re: Political Debate Thread
The usual way to give closure to the losing side is for the candidate to concede an election he obviously lost. At this point the whole 75 million voters thing does more to indict those voters' judgement than it does to legitimize Trump. This guy cheered on a violent attack on the capital building ...

Re: Political Debate Thread
I don't think people will believe what they are saying. With the videos posted about the recount being BS among other issues brought up. I don't think many of the people upset with the outcome won't believe anything other than an audit. I thought it was a loss once the case was dismissed by the SCO...
