Re: GitHub for Content
I am using a service called mod.io . It's basically a database for user-created content that allows you to moderate the content that is being uploaded. I currently have it set up in my project to download the skins of other players asynchronously after the online scene has loaded so I imagine it cou...

Hang tight, gramps. We're working on new media for our Steam page.
I do agree, though. MXS isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The racing scene is far more mature for anything to dethrone it at the moment.

Re: Keybinds For Chat
I have a couple set up in iCue (Corsair's utility for their products). All you basically do is get some kind of program that can do macros and assign it to press your chat button>type the message you want>press enter>press ESC.

Re: Advanced Post-Processing in MX Simulator
Does anyone have like a one-size fits all simple set up for this? I don't want some extreme saturation or vignette, just something that uses some of the perks and doesn't need to be changed track to track. If you update to the newest version of reshade, you can enable and disable effects right in g...

These are renders constructed in a 3D package like Blender or Maya, they aren't in-game screenshots.

Re: Is a Ray Tracing Mod Possible?
Long story short... It's trash. Like I figured, it doesn't work well with sim's lighting nor with the materials. Since there aren't any baked/real-time lights it struggles to find a source to hook in to and uses a default light from the current perspective. Also, since the materials on the bike/ride...

Re: Is a Ray Tracing Mod Possible?
You'll probably need to hook into lars@crossmag existing post-processing files for sim, but it looks like it is possible. You don't need an RTX card, but the tensor cores will sure as hell help a lot. Not sure if PTGI will play nice with sim's materials/shaders or even the lighting for that matter, ...

Re: LiDAR?
It's been done before. Here's a Niklas Sandbox track http://forum.mxsimulator.com/viewtopic.php?t=44533. They built the track in a sandbox and 3d scanned it. That isn't liDAR, that's just photogrammetry. It is possible to do, but it seems very tedious. We are trying to use a couple of LiDAR tracks ...

Re: 2019 rF Nationals Pro and Amateur (NA)
Has anyone found a definite solution to the fps drop issue? I've tried everything on the forums posted recently, but it's still too unplayable. I was running top 10 both motos tonight but fell back hard because I'd go from 125fps to 15fps and miss a rut or catch someones back tire. It just doesn't m...
