Like motoboss said, new sparkplug and check your air filter. You could have over-oiled it causing a rich condition (or it's overly dirty). Sounds silly, but also check the muffler packing, the bike could not have the correct amount of backpressure.

Went up the gap in the main sandhill for the first time on the second time out on the kx. Still faster on the crf if I try to ride mx, but the kx is coming around. Should get better when I get suspension.

Did a shakedown ride on the kx today, now time to start tuning in the suspension and getting used to a two smoker
