Haggqvist has talked about placing the objects in blender to render AO maps based on their placement relative to other objects (or something along those lines). I told you before that I've been rendering terrain ao-maps with objects placed in blender the whole gp-season for use in the decal overlay...

Not a chance I'd be able to even think about getting anything done by then... The release of the last GP is on the 2nd and the MXDN is on the 28/29th of September and I assume the MXSDN will be at about the same time. I guess my next-gen-visuals-super-project will have to wait until the next one... ...

All my tracks have been made exclusively in the editor with the raise/lower/smooth tools i.e. without gradients.
The track path and jumps on Agueda, Beto Carrero and Kegums was done by rafagas in the editor as well, although he takes the easy road by using the gradient tool.

Cheers WHEELS, now the track fencing will have extremely annoying collisions for the rest of the GP-series... :lol: If you do that, try to break it up into multiple objects. One object with hundreds of spheres will be much slower than 10 obects with 10 per object since the bounding sphere test is p...
