Re: Post your BMX bikes!

I used to ride bmx from early 2000 to about 2011. I don't have pictures of my bike at hand and it's in the storage in pieces atm but here are some of the highlights of me with my bike. https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/8354/mf282kq3uqtu1wx6g.jpg https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/bec0/r8oakzwwf61ff0z...

Re: Performance Concerns?

I remember reading when I was overclocking my i5 that it is possible to have different multipliers per core. Maybe you could try to tune your overclock to have higher multiplier on the first core and slightly lower ones for the rest of them?

Re: Billboard tool 1.0 by vmaki

I updated the billboard placement logic to be random. Placement looks much more natural now! I also cleaned up the script from useless stuff. http://www.mediafire.com/file/33rqegmtqf8o76z/Billboard_tool_1.1.zip I'm looking into making the script use rgb channels as three different layers of billboar...

Re: Billboard tool 1.0 by vmaki

…I assume is a typo… That is the case. I changed the way it does the random length for the billboards as one of the last things I did and that must have slipped through. I’ll clean it up when I get home from work. …you have two while loops… This is on purpose. The point is that it loops through the...

Billboard tool 1.0 by vmaki

I'm proud to present you to my Billboard tool 1.0! This is my first real step in to the land of coding and I'll gladly listen to any and all improvements or new features. (It would be great if somebody who actually knows how to code would have the time to read the program through and give feedback!)...

Re: Upcoming Tracks and Track Objects #2

This isn't the right topic but I guess it's close enough. I've been trying to learn to code with python and the project is actually getting somewhere. My billboard tool is starting to look like it could be useful. https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/09c0/hx6hj8cpcx012db6g.jpg DOPE. I'm not sure if it...

Decal grouping and erode

Here is an idea to help erode pop more visually. Decals would have group number asigned to them. 1 would be the decal group as they are now in the game. 2 would be a masked group of decals or a particular masked decal that has been asigned to a particular group 1 decal. Group 2 would be unmasked by ...

Re: Upcoming Tracks and Track Objects #2

I'm looking for some ideas for something instead of those four stairsteps coming downhill. They are kind of nice but I guess something else would be more interesting? Could probably get some ideas from Sam Redman on Facebook, he’s got a track just like that! Thanks for the tip! I ended up watching ...

Re: Toggle Tilemap View in Editor

This would be really good!

Also on the topic of toggling. How about the ability to toggle the height map visible while in editor? Maybe even a shaded relief map using that greyscale height map?

MULTIPLE LIGHT SOURCES :D JLV, I've been trying to find if you've talked about why we can only have one light source. Would multiple light sources be something you'd consider? Wouldn't be too hard to add more conventional light sources. They're built in to OpenGL. The thing that makes me hesitant i...

Re: How to get the rider weight off the handlebars

If you are using a controller you can change where your riders neutral position is on the bike when you are not touching the thumpstick. You can do this by manually editing the config file found in your personal folder. Lines 166 and 167 have the following: lean_forward_key=(0.300000,-0.932396)Cont...
