The Drupal
Re: The Drupal
is there any particular reason that you have the 500kb limit?
my skins seem too be too high quality, and i cant get them any lower than about 560,
would a limit increase be feasible?

Re: The Drupal
Big update, and i have to say I am a little excited.
First off, SEARCH WORKS this had me concerned because i have seen many post about FreeHostia servers having trouble allowing the search function to work properly but it now does.
- As posted urlier profiles are now working, to edit your profile go to My Account>edit> then there will be sub categories at the top.
-Also as you might have noticed you can now access the user that posted content strait from the post page.
-Private messages are now enabled, in user profiles there is a link "send private message" or you can manually type in the user name by going to My Inbox>create message> at the top in the Send to box>"username"
-Recent comments now are displayed in the lower left menu.
-Now that the search function is, well functioning i have to change the post types to Skin, model, and track so when searching for a track you dont get a bunch of skins etc..
-When posting something from now on please include all the keywords in the title, for some reason it searches by title not by description.
-And the only thing im still stumped on is the ability to rate the user content, but hopefully this will be revolved soon.
Hope you guys enjoy all the changes, if not or there are any problems please feel free to let them out.

Re: The Drupal
save in binary form, compress it with 7zip, and then it should be under 500kb, if not you've done something wrong.
JLV when do we get the PNG format for the skins? It would really help me out
And an announcement, now that I am doing the objects and all on my track i have noticed that the file is well over 500kb even when cleaned out. To upload a fully done track you will most likely have to have 2 compressed files and when the user decompresses them he will just have to merge the to files.
The only reliable solution around this is to pay for a server, and at this point im really not interested in doing this

Re: The Drupal
track or a skin?
skins you need to unpack them and then place the .ppm file into your main MX Simulator file
