3rd person Camera View

Post by SKERICK »

Hey guys just wondering whether there was any way to move the 3rd person view around at all (eg. id love to lower it down slightly behind the bike can see up hills better and would just look cooler to ride from that perspective) i belive the camera is slightly high probably just me. Just wondering if there was a way???

That the way it is. JLV said he is gonna add an adjustable 3rd person view. You just have to wait for that snapshot to come out.

I found this in I believe the 4-5-09 snapshot thread...See FAQ for how to add this. Just play with the numbers. Hope its what you wanted...
- New command line option "--chase-center 0,0,0". This changes the point the 3rd person camera is attached to. Wideopen6, this should make the camera work the way you want.
Rant: Another lost command line option. FAQ is out of date. JLV really needs to just make a text file with all commands and every time he makes a new command option the list is udpated. :(

Thanks heaps bro this has made the game for me now. only litle prob is that the bike seems to be more sensetive and the camera not as smooth when i set it to say 0.-0.0 (these numbers change a whole heap in game with the slightest change)
