The naming for the pipe info file goes like this. If the bike skin is called "yz125-2010 Stock-Blue.png", it will try the following files in order:

yz125-2010 Stock-Blue.pipeinfo
yz125-2010 Stock.pipeinfo
yz125.pipeinfo
default125.pipeinfo

Just replace yz125 with the bike name.

Do it in notepad, then save it as all types, after that rename it to "xxxxxxxxx.pipeinfo".

thank you for the reply yz but as a matter of fact i named it RMZ250.pipeinfo and still got the default sound ingame if i change with the command line np but is gone next race start. And i don´t know how all the textures are named got so many and they might be named different in the saf so don´t know what to do search for a permanent solution at least default for all 250s or model specific at least.

if i got the above right it means when i name for example the file RMZ250.Pipeinfo it should be permanent since it works the list downwards for an existing file if there is none it stays default right ? because i have it this way but still no luck.

Yeah, using the skin name will only apply the sounds to that one skin.

Have you tried making the 'p' on pipeinfo lowercase too?

jep was just in the post so i tried RMZ250.pipeinfo and rmz250.pipeinfo with no effect. And I don´t know what I´m doin wrong maybe the Model is named different ?

Like said i hit it in the Chatbox np at all but as soon as i restart any track race it is gone and i need to type again. And this is annoying.
