Wow, everyone of you(excluding JLV) should be embarrassed. Ive never seen such childish like actions.

But like any event like this, and the nature of this genre of game to attract "punk kids" that have never had respect instilled in them, you will have on-going drama such as this.

I suggest that the community take a look, and learn from, New Demension Racing. NDR is a very reputable host of many events for LFS. I know I often make references to LFS but guys they have got it right, that cant be argued. LFS is very enjoyable, and despite the developers loss of intrest(so it seems) it is still buzzing along quite well.

I understand that at this stage it would not be practical to have private leagues as in LFS but that is a direction the community needs to take.

Just my two cents, and in my traditionally un organized poorly said manner :P

Also wanna take this space to say how thankfull i am for JLV and community to continue work on this project, as a member from the very start it has truely progressed very well. Thank you!

you should have ppl pay like 5 dollors to enter a series so then you know there not going to fuck around being goons then at the end of the series have a pay out for the top 3 in points ..... atleast i think that would attract the more serious riders then have a free one for all the goons

No offense Hegge, but that is complete Bullshit,I have watched demo after Demo, and I can honestly say 85% of the time the so called "fast guys" are the ones who ride dirty with each other, So your basically saying that Fast "CLick" are the ones who have the right to do so, Yea right... Like being in the Popular crowd gives the right to be excluded is not right, Sounds just like High school all over again. I do not think there should be a fee on any sorts, How it has been run thus far has gone good. just the few who bitches about a bad race , this , and that.IMO they need to get over it.Look at Jones or shack, they have each had there bad races, yet still won 2 times each. IMO if I was to make a main,do you think I would hold back just to give something up for someone more experienced , Hell no , it is a game, and I wanna win simple as that. Fair is Fair so what ever happens should happen to everyone..

Remember: even the "Click" rides dirty...

I agree with you Jeff, but what Hegge was trying to say (I think) is that the people that DON'T crash others (on purpose or just by being retarded) shouldn't be punished for the acts of the people that ruin it for everyone else, I agree with what you said 100%, the fast riders have more control over the bike though, that's a fact, people that haven't played as long yet and try to do it right, yeah they will mess up sometimes, that's just how the game works cause it's hard, I don't think we should punish those people either, just the one's that completely ignore blue flags, crash people on purpose, don't bother brakeing for turn 1, race you after you lapped em, etc etc..

On that part Agreed for sure, I just wanted point out that, I have seen some dumbass post ( post race ) from the "Top Guys" that are just sooooo childish, because someone rubbed paint with them, and they fell. Like I said they need to get over it, because In the end in the "Actual Races" if the normal guys do not feel like someone is good enough to be in the main, then WHy , or how the hell did they make it there. If they do make it there, they have every right to race hardd, and dirty only if need be.. The good riders indeed do have more control ,which is what sets them apart from the rest. Now what I dislike about all of this, and I wanna state. Is during the week leadin up to the event, if someone who is slower is trying there hardest , and messes you up, CHill the fuck out. Half the fast guys are on there 24/7 up until the race, so that means plenty of time to get atleast a good qualifying lap in..

Hegge I meant nothing toward you in anyway, I just took your post as an example, from what I wanted to state for my opinion is all..

you got it straight up! and no offense taken jeff, we take each other out for position and the slow guys dont, like you can lap a slow rider and he tries to race or he punts you over the berm, but my point is like jester said.

It all comes down to repsect, lappers should respect the leaders, in return the leaders should respect the lappers, and on top of it all EVERYONE should respect EVERYONE.

This is not a game, its a sim, lets play it like one! In real life you dont ride over your head, if you do you end up pissing people off, usually the top riders, by trying to hang with them when thats just not your pace.

For example just this past weekend at an arena cross race. Came down to the last 3 laps of school boy me and my good friend Dylan Cox were raceing for 1st he had the position and due to a poor lay out there was 1 section you could pass in(rythm section 90* small triple/double 90* then the finish inside roll doubles out side triples). As we approached the section i set it up to take the inside and pass him there is a lapped rider we pass in the section before the corner as i take the inside of the corner the lapped rider forces his way to my inside causeing me to get into dylan and check up.

Moral of the story!!--Since i respect dylan i did check up and let him go i still finished second, it would have been just as easy for me to stay in it win and take him out possibly. Also the lapped rider never should have tried that move.

I feel as if this happens much more in MXS because people do treat it as a game and dont think nothing of forcing there way in to a spot that isnt there. Or when the leaders come around you try to race with them because you may can run there pace for 1 lap if you dont crash.(I do this is LFS xD but its alot easier to recover from a mistake or make sure you dont affect the other persons race in LFS)

My point was , take Phoenix for instance. A few of the top guys were bitching and moaning from the start pileup, for one When you watch the demo, the same riders who bitched where the same one's who caused the big issues that they were later jumping on ppl's cases. I understand about lappers, hell I am one of them, But I respect everyone, I just say screw it and jump off the track no matter where I am at. If I am being lapped, I don't deserve to race anyone IMPO. Then there have been demos after demos where I see the lappers do try to get out of the fast lines, only for the leaders or lappies, to try some dumb risky line. At that it is just in practice races. IMO try to throw down the laps( qualifying ) when you see the track map somewhat clear. Now in real life there are ppl who cruise around finding there lines, while others are throwing it down fast. IF this was to be done in mxs and a fast guy messes up, who would never admit it, there would be a bitch fit to be tied.

Point is, the fast guys makes mistakes, some are cocky to the fact they wont admit it, when a lapper truly does get outta the fast line only for the fast guy to try something stupid where in real life sometimes they would not even do. I know this because I save a lot of demos for my personal way to practice, and I see many many many of the tops guys make mistakes into the lappers, obviously not all the time, but It happens more than some like to admit.. It goes both ways IMO.... Hegge, rew both of you have great points though, as I said it can sorta go both ways I guess..

After I posted that I remember the last time I talked to you, you said you were in Germany so after I posted that I was thinking that could have been years ago. When did you get back?
