I'm considering purchasing the full version, but I don't wanna spend 40 bucks if its just gonna do stuff like this. Now, I know the full has rider lean and can help with some of this, but watch the vid and tell me if I'm doing something wrong, or just the demo version is making the game feel "suckish"

well would you be clearing the big jumps in real life if you slowed down? trust me just slow down and roll over the jumps or air them but get the cornering down first ti will help to get speed out of them for the jumps, you need a good few months to get better

Well I got cornering down pretty good now. Whenever I whip, a lot of times I end up landing sideways? And I endo alot too. Can you lean back and not endo in the full?

You don't want to lean back like most other video games. You want to wait to lean back till you are nearly off the top of the take off of the jump. As far as the whipping, well I am still pretty bad at the game so I just ensure I take off straight and stay striaght so I can land straight.

just like the top of the page says PRACTICE MORE. thats what it comes down to youll start getting better everyone started out like that and you slipped outta the berm because your front tire came out

remember... this is a simulator.
Im not sure if you have ever ridden a dirt bike but regardless in your first week of riding were you trying to take every corner fast, jump 60 foot table tops. NO!
This game takes practice, go slowly and get faster slowly
But a few tips:
When learning the best way to jump is.
1. Select a gear that will continue to accelerate the entire way
2. approach with medium speed at the upramp
3. let go of the throttle at the base
4. power up from the middle to the top
What this does is at the bottom compresses the suspension so it gives u a nice arc in the air.
(also that finish line jump is pretty bad for endo's and is one of the few jumps that some people don't scrub)
To whip:
1. begin to lean half way up the up-ramp (in the demo practice on the small table top before the uphill whoops)
2. Continue to hold the lean button and it should naturally come back
3. over time you will get more of a feel and you can counter lean to get it back.
Also using the clutch, brake, throttle are all able to change the whip
Remember the physics are like real life so anything done must be how it is done in real life

i find that just holdint the direction while whipping is harder to land
