wtf!! jlv i couldnt run shaders for a long time i knew it was the game my pc runs all games good except mxs and after this update im able to run maxed out again on max what did u change??

You probably had something set to high. The "High Detail" settings don't actually max out every setting. They're more like maximum reasonable settings.

i also maxed out every thing in the cutsomizeble menu so it would be the same as putting every thing to max like before right?

Maxing out the advanced settings will waste resources with little to no improvement in visual quality. If you don't understand why you're turning up a setting, you should leave it at the default.

For the terrain rendering -
"Software" renders the terrain tiles on the CPU and then copies them to the GPU's texture memory.
"Hardware/Copy" renders the terrain tiles into the GPU's framebuffer and then copies it to texture memory.
"Hardware/Direct" renders the terrain tiles directly into the textures with the GPU using OpenGL framebuffer objects.

Im having the same problem as some others have
with i cannot continue once i have selecteed the folder i have the zzzzzz file in it i have saved it though and i cannot then open it and install??

When I download the installer, instantly I get a pop-up from Avira anti-vir that the file contains a virus. When this happens, I can't use the file at all, can't cut/paste or copy/paste the file .. It annoys the heck out of me.

Pause your anti-virus. My anti-virus dont let me play mxsim, and i can't download anything (cuz I always get a "time-out").
