Re: 2011-11-17 snapshot
Rode them on sx a little more, on Oakland I rode the 125 then 450, then 250. 125 was the normal pin it, huck stuff out of corners nimbleness. 450 is like a locomotive (peter shoutout), it's low end is insane, it accelerates so fast, you barely have to shift (1st ande 2nd is all you really need with the same gearing i get into 4th with the 125), it isn't too nimble and doesn't like to be turned too much, and has almost no noticable engine braking and there is no reason to hit the rev limiter. The 250 has the same power characteristics as the 125 (rev it as high as you can guy!) but with more power and a lot more engine braking than any other bike, it is also a lot more nimble than the 450.
Just some observations, the fast guys will still get the fast laps, but the slower guys won't have as much as a problem with some of the rhytms, also small mistakes won't matter as much since you'd still be able to make the next jump. No I'm not complaining, I just think it's going to make slower guys never want to ride the smaller bikes, it takes more skill to ride the tiddlers fast than the 450's (not track record fast, but smooth consistant safe fast speed laptimes, you still have to worry about controlling the power.
Wrote this on my phone with a touchscreen keyboard, it sucks, sorry for all the spelling mistakes and stuff that might not sound coherent because I forgot what I said already since it takes so long and sucks for scrolling. Now someone go rail some tractors on a 125!

Love em. I was wrecking a lot at first trying to ride it like a 250f, and then I realised I just need to go half throttle from the inside and braap over everything. Haha.

Already did. Frederick can attest to that, what with losing to a 125 with a 450 in redbud.yzmxer608 wrote: Now someone go rail some tractors on a 125!
So fun battling against the 450s with a 125. Gonna improve riding quite a bit as you can't really stop pushing at all, else those tractors go by you.
Those who possess strength have also known adversity.

JLV how does it feel to have made the most realistic mx game ever?
Re: 2011-11-17 snapshot
First off, updated 450 stock model replacements, this time with Attacker's RMZ250 showing as the RMZ450 model. Here's your milk, now shut up!...:p

The rev limiter is set too high. On my 2007 450 its at 11,200 on the 2004 10,600. I see you set the rev limit for all bikes at 12,500, which is 500 RPM above what the KTM (highest revving) bike goes in the dyno charts. On a 450 I know in 1st-3rd gear you would be able to pull the bike into the rev limiter very hard. In game even in 1st gear, you can't pull the bike into the rev limiter. Also, setting it so high leaves a gap in the sounds, they go soft from 11,000 to 12,500, which is disappointing. Why doesn't each bike have it's own individual rev limit?
Also, the low end power is too little. On a 450, heck even on my 250, I can ease myself off at an idle (2500RPM) and whack the throttle and pull the front end up. In the game its bog city...lol. I think what you see on the dyno charts with the lower power down that low are not WOT numbers. On the dyno, you press the button to start the run and hit the throttle at the same time. I believe where they start off is basically a closed throttle power number, and where they begin to climb at a lesser rate is where WOT is reached. Am I explaining that well enough?
What Yamaha youtube video did you use for this? One of Kyle Chisolm from 2011 nationals?

best 450 jump ive found so far is at the 2010 budds creek national, in the back after the big uphill jump, make the left then you can launch that first table and land on the single where durham crashed this year before henry hill. I just love how you can actually ride it like a 450 too, you dont need to be wide open around the track and they actually handle good and feel realistic. Love this update!

For tighter tracks its def gonna be the 350. so much closer handling wise to the 250 but more of a 350 powerband. but for outdoors its a 450!

WOW!!! Vanderhoof for president. Panic revs alone take on a whole new meaning, sections are easier and holeshots are really earned now. Thanks JLV.

Umm, no. The 350 has all the same specs. (weight, intertia) as the 450's, but with less power. So it handles like a slow 450. Sorry.Corpralbarn wrote:For tighter tracks its def gonna be the 350. so much closer handling wise to the 250 but more of a 350 powerband. but for outdoors its a 450!
