well i put it in windowed mode and quit, but then when i click on mxavi nothing happens, could it be because of the latest snaphot?

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
oh actually when i click mxavi it comes up with a security warning saying publisher could not be verified, so i click run and command prompt flashes but after that nothing happens
Re: Scripts for AVI recording
I've been thinking about makin a video because the 450's are now out and I have a question on what setting i should use. I want decent quality so should I record at a higher resolution? Or can I get good quality through the windowed mode?

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
I can get everything to work, except. Yes, there is always a but.
Whenever i use pause in the demo to set-up different shots, it stops recording. The movie.avi only is only up to my first pause, which is right at the beginning to switch my view and set my focus.

How come when I put it into Sony Vegas, Sony Vegas stops responding?
Re: Scripts for AVI recording
It should start recording again when you unpause.SCHAFFERNOCKER wrote:I can get everything to work, except. Yes, there is always a but.

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
I ran through all of my shots using Pause as a Stop/Start record button, just as the instructions... then when i get out of the game and run joinavi.... it only shows my first clip.
Im also using Windows 7 64-bit, fyi.

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
Try running it from a command prompt. There might be an error message you're missing.
Does it make a long video if you don't pause it?

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
Did you resize the window as you recorded? That will mess things up.

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
yes.
and when I press pause, will it create a new .avi file? Or does it just stop and add on to the movie.avi?

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
sorry for the DP, but i figured everything with recording out got my shots recorded. When I import to Premier CS5 it does not playback smooth. Its all chopped and lagged out like. If i just play it through windows media player it looks fine.
Do i need to set something up in CS5 for a smooth source?

Re: Scripts for AVI recording
I wouldn't know about that. Maybe try running it through a transcoder first.
