when I try to install it, it just says cant find game data, anyone knows whats wrong?

This topic is for mxserver. I don't think it will ever produce that error message.

If you're trying to install a snapshot exe, the exe isn't an installer. You need to manually move it to your install folder.

Here's what the Microsoft docs say:

Network is down.
A socket operation encountered a dead network. This could indicate a serious failure of the network system (that is, the protocol stack that the Windows Sockets DLL runs over), the network interface, or the local network itself.

Thanks, I reset my internet, and deleted the old files and re-unzipped them and it works now.

Hey I made a server and when my friends get on it is in slow mo .... Any advise? It's really annoying

If you're running the game client on the same machine it's probably stealing all the CPU time from the server. Try raising the server's priority level in the task manager.

Start the server, open task manager, right click mxserver.exe and set the priority.
