I have the new snapshot, and the all the files all downloaded, rider skins still arent working for me, can someone do a step by step for me please.

unrar with winrar and put in youre personal folder

Download winrar and install it. Open the rider or track file you downloaded using winrar. Drag all the contents of the file into your personal folder.

Markm, are you using the demo, or full game? You cannot download skins/tracks/models and use them in the demo
I see you are having problems with tracks too.

If you are using the full game:
1. Watch Joe Sawlers video in the Models and Skins thread called how to use skins.
2. Download rider models, unzip, put in Personal Folder
3. Make sure you're using the right snapshot, should say 12-3-08 in the bottom right corner when you open game. Make sure mx.exe is in your Program Files folder. If you are using a shortcut, make sure it is mapped to the correct snapshot(or delete the shortcut, and create a new one with the correct snapshot, to avoid further trouble)
4. Download skins, unzip, place in Personal Folder
5. Go to bike setup, and click the one for rider, it should scroll through your skins.
6. Give an accurate description of everything that you have done, where you have put the files, what setup you are using(vista, xp, or some other), and what the problem is.

And please keep the questions to one topic. The help topic is sufficient. I dont mind answering questions, but please just make one topic and stick to it.

Sorry guys. I will use only one from now on. But do the old model skins work for the new models? They look inside out when I put them on the new models.
