PS3 DualShock controller connection?

Im kinda new too all this and I am trying to connect my PS3 DualShock3 controller so i can play. I see alot of people saying go to this website, do this, do that and its confusing me alot! if somebody can please give me a simple way to connect my controller it will be very much appreciate. Thanks

1. Download a program called ds3 tool.
2. Connect your controller with a wire or bt.
3. load the drivers (in ds3 tool) and configure it in game!

If you find this hard give it a search on youtube.

Basically what he said, but when you run the program a litle black box will appear for a second and then close. I run the program twice and then you can hit the ps home button and the computer should recognize the controller.

Ok, i have it downloaded and watched a youtube video but when i go to driver manager and try to load it it says error? I forgot to mention i am using windows xp...

Hey, I'm using a Ps3 Dualshock too. If you haven't figured it out yet just pm me or reply to this and I'll set up a really easy tutorial I tried to follow a bunch of guides for DS3 tool and they were confusing, So I just played around and figured it out for my self.

YES! Please help me i just bought a XBox 360 controller, plugged it in, and nothen. I also got a DualShock 3 controller and thats not working either? please help

i have a wired ps3 controller and ds3 doesnt even recognize the controller
