I use both sticks. One for rider movement, one for steering.

Controller Setup - 2 sticks or 1? (Poll)

Post by motokid499 »

So I use 1 analog stick. For steering AND leaning. Just curious as to what majority uses. (plus im bored) Im really inconsistent and everyone tells me to switch to 2 sticks. And i know some fast people use 2 sticks, but i also know some fast people who use 1 stick. 1 stick users seem to be more inconsistent though.. I cant switch to 2 sticks for the life of me. Whats your prefference? If you use both sticks, what buttons are for shifting?

1 stick, since I use the other one for throttle/rear brake.

for me its: left stick = steering, and click to downshift. right stick = lean forward/back, and click to up shift.

could someone who uses a 360 controller and uses 2 sticks post their controller setup? i had mine set for 2 sticks starting out but the layout kept me from sitting while on the brakes. i have now set it for full rider control on one stick and throttle/brake on the other stick and i just dont feel as stable. thanks ahead of time for helping. id like to find a 2 stick config that will work.

My setup is just a hybrid of MvA Reflex and GRID. Triggers for gas/brake. Left stick turning, right stick leaning. LB is clutch, X is shift up, and A is shift down. B is rear brake and Y is reverse.

Pretty much the same with me too, but my clutch is in RB, upsift is Y, downshift is B, sit/dab is in the button of the left stick and reverse is in the button of the right stick.

I use a PS4 controller, and I use the triggers for throttle and brake, left stick for steering, right stick for leaning. I use r1 and l1 for shift up/down, x is rear brake, square is sit, and circle is the clutch

R1 - Sit/Dab
Left Stick - Full Rider Control
Right Stick (Up & Down) - Shifting

O - Reverse
