RPM's randomly being limited (controller)
So i just got back in to MX SIM since i got a pc again. I have been using a controller to play like i did before although randomly my RPM will lmiit at about 8000 even though i have my throttle wide open (trigger on controller in fully). This can not be fixed unless i restart MX Sim which hasn't been a problem until now that i have been playing online.
Any suggestions? I'm using a ps4 controller which works on MX Sim without any 3rd party software/programmes.

Try re-installing the drivers and re-mapping the controller buttons in Sim.

I use ds4 tool it converts the input from the controller into Xbox 60 controller input, although i'm sure it could work a different way or without it

Sounds to me like you might have your stop wheelies turned on.

I have stop wheelies on and never had that problem. Could be though.

I don't use any software for the controller. I think that could be my problem though, i found out if i tap both my brakes it stops doing it. So I think its actually my brakes coming on slightly by themselves.

I have the same problem using that controller. The trigger is likely worn out and can no longer register wide open throttle. Buy a new controller or recalibrate it to be a button instead of an axis.

Re: RPM's randomly being limited (controller)
Its a new ps4 controller though, it works fine for everything else. The throttle also sticks wide open as well, the only fix for this and the brake problem is to tap the brakes to reset the brakes or tap the throttle to reset it which is annoying because randomly going on wide open throttle or braking is likely to make me crash. I'm pretty sure its because im not actually using any software to connect the controller it just seems to work lol.Bmxracer754 wrote:I have the same problem using that controller. Does the game lag or skip before it happens?

Re: RPM's randomly being limited (controller)
Nope just randomly out of nowhere my brakes are locked half way or my throttle is wide open, and the only way to stop it is to tap the respective button that is 'stuck' on.Bmxracer754 wrote:Does the game lag or skip before it happens?
