Okay so since what barrington suggested isnt going to happen what about a sort of timing gate that just registers that you went through it, and then hosters could manually do the docking. If that would even be possiblejlv wrote:Maybe the split gates, but the automatic joker lane won't happen by then. I don't want to special case it and I'm pretty sure I won't have the required scripting for a general purpose solution in place by then.barrington314 wrote:JLV, obviously these shouldn't be taken as demands and I understand this isn't high priority for you and we could make the event work without it but whats the chances there could be a solution for timing gates so that we can have split sections before the end of October? And at the same time I wonder if it would be possible of the scoring to require at least 1 joker lane pass, otherwise automatically issuing a X position penalty?

Its not that big of a deal for 1 event. The majority of people are honest and would admit to have not gone through the joker lane once. That and people spectating would most likely notice it. It might become a pain if it were a regular thing throughout the entire sx season but I dont see that being likely.

fix the front end of this bike as its so unrealistic as it falls over when going slow witch is no real in life as you want it to be a sim you have more control of the bike when you are going slow as you have all the tyre on the ground

Woods racing I find is more difficult because you have to maneuver in slower speeds, where do you get this data that its easier? The turning physics aren't going to change either, there may be an assist or value changed but there have been many people proven wrong about the physics this game uses.

You have to rename the "mx-2014-07-28-1231.exe" to just "mx.exe" and replace whats in the folder currently.jlv wrote:Replace mx.exe or mxbin with one of the above files. The default location for mx.exe should be "C:\Program Files\MX Simulator". I'd keep a backup of the originals since these aren't well tested.

Only the greatest update since sliced bread!!! I can't remember which update had that.Kawasakis wrote:Haven't seen any updates in a while, what you're up to JLV?
