No NAT should be on.NicoMacArthur wrote:when i turn NAT off it just literally disables my internet!

Re: MX server not working after port forward
The usual configuration is NAT on the router and the modem in bridge mode. The alternative would be the modem acting as a NAT router and the router acting as a switch/wireless access point. Either way, whatever is doing NAT needs to forward the port.NicoMacArthur wrote:should i turn NAT off then?

Re: MX server not working after port forward
The modem is in bridge mode? Are you sure you have the correct addresses for everything?

Re: MX server not working after port forward
My modem does not have bridge mode enabled
Re: MX server not working after port forward
Probably double NAT then. What kind of modem is it?

Re: MX server not working after port forward
the modem says its a technicolor C2100T
Re: MX server not working after port forward
Hm. Missed where you said the modem and router were one unit. It's not double NAT in that case. Try disabling the firewall on the router.

Re: MX server not working after port forward
ok i used a different port checker and it says "port filtered" which means its connecting to host but packets cant be sent due to firewall blockage
Re: MX server not working after port forward
Do you have UDP 19800 open on both the router's firewall and Windows' firewall?

Re: MX server not working after port forward
If you have the port forwarded and open on all firewalls it should be working. Try having someone connect to it. There's a good chance the port checker isn't giving good results. Hard to see how it'd even work for UDP.
