Thanks again. I think it's happening in the terrain texture rendering. Can you do it again with this exe? It has a lot more log info in the texture render code.

No need. I did make one change in that one that might have fixed an OpenGL problem. Just to make sure that was it can you try this exe with the change reverted and see if locks up again? https://mxsimulator.com/snapshots/mx-2021-12-02-1614.exe
Thanks again for your help!

Dang. It's a heisenbug. Can you re-test with mx-2021-11-26-1614.exe to see if the freeze is still happening at all on your system?

I'll do some testing on AMD's Windows driver. Too bad you can't use the Linux/Mesa driver on Windows.

So it has been a while, how do I get it so I don't have to manually put in the server name. It wont let me click on the servers on the website.
Assuming you installed in the default location, the web links try to run "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator\mx.exe". So your exe has to have that exact name. Note that file explorer hides the .exe extension by default, so it will show as an application named "mx" there.

so when i open properties the target line says "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator\mx.exe.exe" and wont let me change it to just mx.exe
In file explorer, open "C:\Program Files (x86)\MX Simulator\", click on "mx.exe" and delete the ".exe".
