There are some good names in that list, so I do hope for the best, but this Kickstarter will not reach any stretch goals.

The first gameplay trailer is still over 6 months out. To play the first version of the game in 6 months you need to pay $500. They are advertising on the trailer for cross-platform and yet it's a stretch goal they will implement if they hit 200k. MX gamers are shallow and I can already read the comments for when they don't have real bikes in the base game because it didn't reach 750k funding for licenses.

Really do hope for the best but I just don't see it

to me its crazy that they are doing this kickstarter, cause in the post itself, they say they have the funds to make the base game, but if the game is supposed to be as good as they market, that base game SHOULD include all of these features. The main funder for this game is Niko, and with MXB shop alone, he makes 30% of every sale on that site, which has 10's of thousands of purchases made every month on items wildly varying in price from 50 cents to $15

I would love for another game to come onto the market and provide a better simulator than MXS. Unfortunately, in 26 years that's never been the case. I would love for this new game to be more than just pre-rendered graphics hype but let's be real.

Happy to see the game got its base funding level and will at least be given a chance. Congrats to the team and good luck!

If it has direct lean instead of direct steer I'm going to riot. They say the joystick controls the rider and the rider "controls" the bars so that could be interesting. I don't think MX simulator works this way, I think it's just direct force to the bars, I could be wrong though.
