Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
I have been playing this game since like 2012 and recently upgraded from a laptop that always ran the game fine. Upgraded to a full pc with a 4070 super nvidia and i7 14700. Doesnt matter if i am just in a new race or multiplayer, but random skips just come out of no where (seems to do it different on multiple tracks). I have redownloaded the newest snapshot and looked through my sim settings. Everything is how it should be settings wise in the game but curious if anyone has some nvidia settings they wouldn't mind sharing to see if i have something that is different and giving me problems. God Bless

No 125 fps. Doesnt ever usually go below it either
Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
Thing that geeks me out the most is how it does it in new race and multiplayer, but yet when it does the freezes in multiplayer I see my ping jump up for a second.
Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
I also have this problem, and i have no idea what to do to fix it

Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
@jlv help some brothers out
Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
I had this same issue, also the ground would never load and was laggy. I eventually after hours of searching forums to no help I went into the nvidia control panel and went to change resolution tab, in there you have your refresh rate. mine was set to 60Hz, I changed it to 144Hz and it fixed everything. Hope this helps

Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
Did anyone ever find a fix for this? My game still does it. I tried what the one guy said but i dont have 144Hz as an option, 60Hz is my max

Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
I recently ran into this issue myself. Here is my checklist that eventually fixed the issue.
1. Update graphics drivers
2. Enable High Performance in windows power management settings
3. Disable threaded optimization for mx.exe via the nvidia control panel
4. Make sure your CPU is running at its highest stable frequency (sometimes the frequency wont boost up - I used intel extreme tuning utility)
5. Make sure your GPU is running at its highest stable frequency (I use EVGA Precision X1 and enable boost lock)
6. Make sure you don't have v-sync enable for mx.exe via the nvidia control panel

tried everything and still nothing is working. updated driver and changes to 144hz and still have the stutter. any updates?
Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
My game has run like dogshit ever since i updated windows to (windows 11 version 24H2). Cant even stream the game in discord without it exploding. From everything I've found its an issue with this windows version that affects games that don't use DirectX. Never tried to revert to an older version if you even can but ive just been dealing with it. I have i7-12700k and 3080ti can run any game i play just fine but not the game that was made in 2007.

Re: Game skipping : Someone have nvidia settings?
Does it help at all to request different OpenGL context versions? Does --glversion 4.5compatibility work better?
