Seperate Bike / Rider

Post by Mayfly »

Will the Rider ever be able to actually fall off the bike in MXS? Or is this too much work?

From the last conversation about this, we concluded that it wouldn't be that good, because there would have to be an amount of pressure on the rider to make him fall off, and people would complain that they crashed when they would have rode away if it was as it is now. But for all i know, JLV could be working on it as we speak.

That was the first thing I noticed when I started playing. Two years later, I forget that the rider doesn't come off.

Dear mayfly:

whats up man? good to see ya. (ddmx talking) As far as the rider being separate from the bike, well, who knows if and when it will happen. I have to agree with voutare though. it looks really shitty when you first pick up the game, but after two years i don't even notice it anymore. I guess it's one of those things you just have to look past when playing.

This is getting a lot higher on my priority list now that the shaders are mostly done. I'm not going to give a date or anything but it's definitely near the top of the list now.
