Is the controller listed in lastlog.txt? It should be somewhere after the "DirectInput roll call..." line.

Yes, I'm trying to help you figure out if your controller is in the DirectInput device list. Go to the start menu, then All Programs, then MX Simulator, then MX Simulator Personal Folder. There should be a text file named lastlog that will have some diagnostics in it.

i cant find directinput roll call ..... and theres nothin to do with the controll either?

That is incomplete. I had the same problem before.

Delete the actual lastlog file and go into the game. Select a new race and ride around for 10 seconds. Quit and open the last log and it should be much longer.

yer but will that make the controller work, and i actually cant play the game now coz me other controller is fuk.ed, and i tried the keyboard but theres no way im gonna be good enough to do that, so im countin on u guys haha

Hmm may as well post it. Maybe post one with the keyboard and one when are trying to use your controller?

well thats the 1 wif the keyboard, but when i try and use the 360 controller theres nothin like that, its just empty

Are you sure you have the DirectInput drivers for it installed? It should show up in that list if the drivers are working correctly. You might want to look in the device manager and see if it's found the controller there.

all i did is downloaded this, got the controll to actually turn on to the computer, thats it, is there somethin i missed?

i personally prefer a logitech dual action controller because all you have to do is put the disk in, set it up, register online, and plug and play. not to mention its cheap, i got mine at radio shack for 22 dollars.

Yeh i got a Xbox 360 Wired Controller and i just downloaded that driver and it works perfect!
