Used to be able to go through whoops easy no troubles, every single lap now i'm lucky to get through them... And even if i try take them slower i still just randomly slip out then high side, it's getting very frustratingyzmxer608 wrote:I think it's fine everywhere besides the whoops, it's so hard to not have the rear wheel slide around for me.

is that sound so right?
Re: 2011-07-21 snapshot
YZ&stocksy: Just tried the whoops on redwood. 7-8/10 times I could blitz through with no problems. I don't know what you guys are doing but it's easier now than in the previous snapshot, and I thought that was fine too.
Then again, I ride smart not fast. Perhaps that's the marking difference.
Lean back but not all the way so there's some leeway to use, upshift to 3rd-5th and don't keep the throttle pinned. Easy as pie getting through those whoops.

Vans, that 125 sounds all weird.

@Shadow; I've tried slowing it down.. But still no luck, and i used to have a technique through the whoops where i could get through them perfect every time and not worry about it, now i can't at all, just saying bit of a coincidence... And i know others have been complaining about it also, not just my self and Yz.

whoops are terrible now. im not that great of a rider but still i feel the difference big time! my back wheel slides away out of the sudden the whole time.stocksy129 wrote:@Shadow; I've tried slowing it down.. Yep, I cant do the whoops as good now no matter what my setup is. It does not feel like it did before the 2011-05-24 snapshot.
I just did a test against the 2011-04-04 snapshot. Nailed it every time with that one. Either crashed or got close to crashing with this one

The harder the better, we're not pros in real life either.

No good 250f ones, and only Husqvarna 125's are good ones.
That part has everything, even a slight bog from him suddenly twisting the throttle. If these sounds can be put in to the game, O M G

Loving the new sounds and the flywheel adjustments. No complaints here at all!

If dynos at different loads and rpms is what jlv needs, we should help out and provide him with that. Renting a dyno for an hour doesnt cost that much, and all you need to do is have some way of monitoring rpm. Record the bike at 20,40,60,80,and 100% load at various rpms.
Id be willing to do it with my yz250, but we need 250 2-strokes in the game first

Re: 2011-07-21 snapshot
I was playing with it trying to figure out, does it sample only off throttle and WOT, and fade between? or is there a 1/2 throttle sample, or more Throttle position samples? I heard a 250f go by on in the next lane, revved most of the way up at part throttle, and it sounded exactly right, with valve train noise and everything. but the 125 could use a part throttle sample if you get a chance to play on a dyno, with the missing and pinging, and stuttering. And also if you get a dyno recording, I think it could help figure the volume levels out. It seems like when I'm riding IRL 2-strokes get way louder in the steepest part of the torque curve, right as they're coming on the pipe. and the fade as you let off is really good, I just think it might be too loud compared to the WOT sound.
my .02 anyway. but I love it compared to the synthesized sounds for sure!
