I agree with ddmx488. We need a "Noob" section, or whatever you want to call it. It would be much easier for people learning the setup of the forum and game and such. A NOOB section could contain all the "how do i whip" threads, and it would be easier for new riders to learn. And it would keep people from getting pissed and scaring off potential players and newbys. Seriously, this forum can be viewed by non-members, and if i am looking at a gaming forum and see all these people yelling at new players for not understanding everything, i wouldnt want to get that game. JLV made this game, and if you want it to keep improving, quit scaring off potential buyers. Please, just be mature!ddmx488 wrote:With the forum expansion I would have liked to have seen a noob section.

Re: What is everyone using
well im affraid it works both ways in that noobs have to respect the site and be mature but also use the search button once in a while because all the older people on here where once noobs and have asked the same questions before. also some people on here need to know you more before you starting asking for model betas or "secret stuff" you cant just come on here and demand the world because that pisses people off.

I was not really imposing on that i was not any good at it, and asking how do i get better, i expected to not be very good at first. I was just wanted to no if i should get a gamepad to make it easier.
Re: What is everyone using
Actually, what could really stand to happen is when a noob posts a question, it gets answered and then locked. Five days later it gets deleted.
Re: What is everyone using

I'm a little late on this, but on the original subject matter, my control setup is a little different.
You see, I've been big into flight sims for some notable time now, and so consequently I've got some gear to that effect. My racing controller is a Saitek X52 joystick and throttle designed for F-15 fighters and such. I found out an interesting thing, though. It can be somewhat intense when you're doing 8g trying to out-turn a Soviet Su-27 on full afterburner in the vertical with the stall warning blaring, but in terms of control inputs and wear on the machinery, the F-15 is like Valium next to a little KX125.
