Re: 2013-09-11 snapshot
Not sure what's next. Might just work on some models. Before SX I'd like to get mesh collisions and javascript scripting. Not sure if I'll manage that.barrington314 wrote:So whats one the list? 8)

Yes please. Does this include mimicking analog inputs and reading variables like the current state of the suspension or how compressed the rider is on the vertical spring?jlv wrote:javascript scripting.barrington314 wrote:So whats one the list?

It's not an installer, you can't double-click the downloaded file. You copy the downloaded file into C:\program files\MX simulator\ and run it from that locationelectrick_neon wrote:yes I have the full Version, but when i download it it comes up a warning that says " can't find game data"wheels1758 wrote:Do you have the full version of the game? Did you place this snapshot in your install folder (Likely: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mx Simulator\)?electrick_neon wrote:it only stays "can't find game data"

Yeah. I'm thinking at first it'll just be for track animations.wheels1758 wrote:For things like the timing tower?

redoing collision would be sick, but what about erode (calm down! I know everyone says this, but be honest it would be awesome and its been stated that its possible)?jlv wrote:Not sure what's next. i dont know a damn thing about mesh collisions or wtf java scripting is.. but if collision is what it sounds like, that could use a rework.. and JLV knows my stance on erode (lol)
but i would just like to reiterate, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE ERODE IN ONLINE PLAY!!! Lets make that happen..

nice plans for the future of mxs!, ill be one of the guys that gets right into the java scripting animations. It'd be great if you could incorporate a sound file with the animations!! And also you probably know how your going to implement it, but it would be good to keep in mind when doing the coding to one day implement custom rider animations too, anyone remember sik trix for mcm 2?
